Thanks. I tell you what though, drawing all those winding & looping metal tubes/pipes that have the woven/braided look definitely did my head in. It was actually quite difficult to draw those on the computer on a large canvas. It really would be amazing to see such an architectural structure like that in real life. I can't imagine the 3-dimensional building or how it should look from the back or even looking down from above it. I guess that's why they never drew it from those perspectives in the cartoon. She-Ra always approached it from the front or as Adora she climbed Skydancer Mountain to get to it from below.

I can just imagine how difficult it was, but it looks beautiful. You're right! It was never shown from the back or from the top. I would love to see a real Crystal Castle.

It's a shame that the Mattel toy version of the Crystal Castle was so different. I would've loved to have seen a 3-D model of the Filmation Crystal Castle.
