okay so I've had this idea in my head for a long time now but I've never really talked about it, but I finally drew up some concepts for it so I guess it's a thing now haha

Anyways, I love medieval fantasy/RPG fantasy kind of stuff, and I thought it would be really cool to make an MLP AU about that.

Okay, so I'll make a journal or something later on explaining the AU in more depth, but to quickly summarize;
- There are 4 types of Equestrians: Earthens/Humans (earth ponies), Angels (pegasi), Mages (unicorns), and Goddesses (alicorns). Each has a separate role in society and each has some kind of job they perform.
- The Mane 6 are known as the Guardians of Harmony - a group of warriors who fight monsters, tyrants, angry gods, and pretty much anything that tries to attack Equestria. They were first formed after defeating Nightmare Moon and freeing Princess Luna.
- Currently, Equestria has been thrown under the rule of Discord - the god of chaos. He turned the princesses to stone and has captured most of Equestria's citizens, leaving the Guardians of Harmony left as the only ones who can actually do anything to save it.

and yeah that's pretty much it, quickly summarized.
I know it sounds boring but like I said, I'll make a journal explaining it in full detail eventually.
I wanted to draw Twilight first because she plays a really big part in this AU, being the only goddess/princess left in Equestria and having her kingdom thrown under tyranny. Also because I've wanted to draw her in a fantasy type outfit for a long time now lol
Her outfit is pretty close to what I've always imagined it in my head as. I kind of wanted her to wear some kind of a cape, but since she has wings that wouldn't really work out that well, so I'll just say that when she was still a mage, she had a cape.
I'll do a fullbody design eventually, but I just kind of wanted to do this for now.
