I used to find the caterpillars for this moth when I was younger and hatch them out on the window in a jar so, when I found one in the garden I had to let my kids watch it hatch. Probably Britains prettiest moth. There is a Small Elephant Hawk Moth too which is much more pink but I have always loved this more.Related content

Thank you. Haha they are rather fluffy looking. My daughter wanted to stroke it and have it as a pet. She didn't want us to set it free.

Yeh they are a reasonable size. I think their wing span can get up to 6cm. Enough to freak my boyfriend out who hates moths lol!!

We do have some beautiful things to see. Although I am not a fan of London too much noise and fumes for me. I am a country girl.
