As before it seems like a weird jellyfish-hat with a cloak but yours does have features that seem to define it as an actual being. It looks like it has a face and arms. I like that

I really like the original because of how it works with negative space, like you can almost see the outline of a little girl within the design. I tried to keep that a bit into mine also. c:

in a parallel Universe there is a silica-based planet called the Ultra Deep Sea, it orbits a red dwarf star and the UDS is blanketed by an incredibly thick air-like gas that acts similar to water, fortunately it's breathable for human/Pokemon visitors, however the viscosity of this "airwater" and the non-atomic makeup can cause difficulty in breathing and minor blackouts, the surface contains large supercontinent-sized "reefs" composed of a ecosystem of silicon-based lifeforms, one of the many lifeforms are the Nihilego, there are country-sized crystalline landmasses that float because of the gas, the UDS has actual oceans but composed of liquid glass, where unknown lifeforms can even thrive on it, plus there are crystalline "volcanoes" that erupt streams of molten sulfuric acid, there are also gigantic caves composed of color-changing gelatinous crystals and colorful fungi-like growths, also there are "deserts" made of highly reflective sand that makes the landscape look like a mirror.
the Nihilego are silicon-based UB composed of a gelatinous glassy substance, it has a complex, floating ring-like statocyst that maintains balance and it's how the creature perceives the world, it's "neck" contains it's nerve cluster, it filter feeds on microscopic plankton-like lifeforms from the air via it's skin but it prefers to latch on any small/medium-sized creature to feed on nutrients, however it doesn't eat the creatures, the most notable thing is that Nihilego can inject a powerful neurotoxin that doesn't damage victims but it's highly psychoactive, it involves decreasing the victim's inhibitions severely, intensifying reactions and reducing capacity for metacognition, the victims are aware of it but it will no longer control their emotions and now they act on primal instincts, the final phase of the venom involves the victims having the complete suppression of rational thought and moral restraints, developing insanity and a monomania that involves protecting themselves and Nihilego, and they are still aware of this.
when attacking, Nihilego can generate crystalline shields coated in toxic crystals, it can even teleport albeit only because of the Beast Boost ability that the rest of the Ultra Beasts in other Universes have, but the Beast Boost didn't came naturally... something else gave the Beast Boost to the alien beasts... anyway it can also launch orbs of toxic liquid glass at opponents, glowing spheres of highly poisonous crystals, generate spiked pillars of toxic crystals, when multiple Nihilego are together they can manipulate a bit of their silicon-based environment around them, and of course subtly influencing the people and Pokemon infected by the venom to attack others that attempt to disrupt Nihilego's feeding of nutrients, also since Nihilego are mostly not sapient nor sentient they can feel with it's nerve clusters the nervous system of it's host during it's latching, in which Nihilego begins copying the rhythm of nerve signals from the body and brain.
