  I can relate. I have a problem where instead of having one light source and sticking to it, I just generically shade everything a little bit around the edges and it ends up looking a mess. You really do seem to have a decent handle on it, though! Besides, chibis don't really lend themselves to more complex shading. 

  So, you're new to the fandom? I am as well. :> Who's your favorite character?

Yeah, I do that sometimes too, then try to go back and fix it after with mixed success. Haha The simplicity is probably why I end up drawing chibis so much.

Mmhmm, watched the whole thing a bit over a week ago. c: I like everyone a little bit, though if I had to choose a favorite, probably Mabel. What about you? ^^

  I used to draw pretty much exclusively chibis, but I don't think they were ever as cute as yours lol. I've been trying to expand my art to my own style and more complex backgrounds. Shading tables is so much easier than shading people! Thanks for the watch, by the way.

  I think I might like Dipper the best, although Mabel is amazing. I also have a soft spot for Bill Cipher, that loveable jerk.

The twins are both pretty great. ^^ Haha, Bill seems to be very popular despite only really making two appearances. xD He's definitely very memorable though.

What program do you use? I have some cool tutorials that could help you try something new, some general ones plus ones for specific programs. 

  I love how unpredictable he is. He could be trying to help or destroy you, and you'd never know. As soon as he ripped the teeth from that deer's gaping maw, I was hooked lol.

Hm, I don't think I have any for gimp but I do have a lot on anatomy and coloring? You can just browse through my saved tutorials/references eclipse-the-awesome.deviantart… I use MS Paint myself.
