Technically its Fanart for World of Warcraft, but its not pure painting, and its not pure drawing, or 3D, and there isn't a Digital > Misc. > Fanart Category, unless I am looking in the wrong place.
Anyway -
Meet two cute characters, the pink Night Elf (warrior) is my best friend Andromeda, and the blue one is my Night Elf Sydnie (rogue) - both of which hit 70 recently.
I rendered all 3 figures seperately in Poser6 first, and they looked very very different, I may post the renders so you can see. I combined some bgs I had, painted over them a great deal, and added the figures, and then completely painted over them. Weapons were mainly painted from scratch, I used a reference for the void axe that Andro has.
Everything was put together by me from scratch, there was so much painting involved. I used some armor from Rend/DAZ as well.

I also used a little of a foliage brush made by ~rebelkitty for some of the back foliage. Thanks hon.

You missed my point, mean as in they go right through my rogues leather and kill her VERY quick if they can keep her kited.

Okay, that's kinda creepy: My hair looks just like "Sydnie's" without the braids... And seeing as /my/ name /is/ Sydney.... Aw, Rogues are awesome anyway.

Wow! Ish WoW! ^-^ I adore them...still playing on that server? *isn't sure if it's one of the many she plays on or not* My main is on Eredar...that server has gone so far south so far as the people playing there...and the people I was playing with all left it...I'd have ditched it too, if I weren't so attached to Ayas, my character there.
Anyway, You did an amazing job with them! And you actually made those horrific eyebrows look really good! They're the only thing I don't like about nightelves in general...^-^

just a thought, the purple night elf's left ear is a bit off (position wise). i think it is a bit too high or a bit too long. meh, I still like it. keep t up

damn you know what I didnt even notice that til you said something =/ I really have to work on my ear positioning, this is not the only peice I have screwed up because of ears!

i think i figured out partially why i don't like poser figures... there's no texture to the skin. every part of them is like a plastic barbie doll. smooth and too perfect.

That is soooo nice! I especially love the tiger, the weapons, and the costumes. Except for the fact that the one on the left's right shoulder is too low, eveything was well thought of and well executed. The eyes freak me out a bit, but not too much. That is definitely a
