Please full viewA lot lighter than my usual work, I'm not even really sure if I like it, but I think I do, just in a different way
I was listening to FoW all last night while I was just messing around in photoshop and I came up with this quick image (8 hours). So the lyrics to Valley Winter Song kept going through my mind "hey sweet annie..." and it sorta just stuck.
So for those of you who like dreamy, soft, flowery, sweetness and light images, this is for you!

It is a stylistic departure for you, but I love it! It's very soft and light - very pleasing to the eye. I could gaze at it for hours!
The only thing that's missing, in my opinion, are some shadows - by the figure's hand, and around the cloth that's lying on the leaf/ground (and maybe a smidge more under the butterfly). I always seem to be zeroing in on those shadows, don't I?
I like how there's just enough contrast between the figure and the background so that she stands out. And the wings are fantastic, as usual!

I love the way you colored the skin. I've been trying to wrap my head around drawing pale and or white skin with out making it look too opaque. This is akin to Brom in how you did the skin. Very nice.

i really think this is greaet. dont think of it as much as the light soft flowery goodness thing idt that's it at all really i think that it has that harsh winter look as well almost like she's been decieved but it really is beautiful just so u know ^-^
