Saber Nero from Fate/ExtraAwards:

I really tried to get the skirt full and flowing for this costume; the sheer skirt has 5m of fabric, and the red skirt is a circle skirt. To support the weight of the skirts, I added a closed back panel to the vest and acrylic bones to the interior of the vest... this transferred the weight of the skirts to my hip and also gave the costume a more character-accurate silhouette. The sheer fabric has an embroidered border with olive laurels; I hand-embroidered a similar design on the sleeve cuffs to unite the decorative elements on the white and red parts of the costume. I also sewed acrylic bones in the puff sleeves to help them maintain that Nero UFO shape.
Costume was drafted, sewn, and embroidered by myself.
Prop was built and painted by myself.
