⚠️vent and trauma warning
This artwork is very meaningful to me, basically when I was a little girl, I made a home and settled with people who wanted me to be the exact opposite of who I was and what I stood for. I was forced to act like a basic Christian conservative girl when I was (and still is) very drawn to horror, macabre, satanism of that sort. I pushed back and forth between myself on trying to please those who hurt me, as a trauma response of trying to protect myself from being hurt again. I’ve been through more than I can even process, but am stronger than the forces that once held me back. The song Cure for Me by Aurora reminded me of me as a child in a little devil costume while everyone else wore angel costumes, I’ve always been different but realized that’s a pro and not a con. 👺🖤
