but here are some ideas for a little unnamed au thing where the handmaid and aradia are like trolls that live in some idk, Swedish-esc mountains or something.

+ handmaid is 4.5 feet and around 200 years old, aradia is 3 and only 50-ish. I guess they’re siblings, although handmaid sometimes mentions an old man that used to take care of her………hmmmm yeah Idk what they are

+ during the summer they shave their excessive leg hair and make pot holders

+ aradia likes to dance (idk why), and that basically involves her doing a bunch of little hops and twirls. she sneaks to the human village and watches them sometimes (handmaid of course DOES NOT like this)

+ their skirts are cut down the back for their tails, and they spend a lot of time embroidering the edges/making lace for the cover (not a lot to do out there)

+ they have a couple chickens and several goats, which they can ride and stuff (its really cute)
but that also means p much everything is made with goat milk. they love cow milk and sometimes sneak it from humans
