Description
Tanija on the MPS (a big medieval and fantasy festival) in Hohenlockstedt (S-H) in Germany.All of the costume is selfmade, flexible and light weigh, because it's made for LARP (Live Action Roleplay) and I need to fight/run with it.
And yes, it's my bow. And yes, there is no arrow (don't wanted to shoot someone while photographing

And it's functional, not just decorative?
The costume is very nice and I see why it'd be good for LARPing. No high heels to try and fail to balance on.

I needed around 3 weekends with patternmaking, sewing and finish. Without hooves and ears and stuff. ^^
I was pushed by a friend, so it would have been longer if he weren't there, I think...

I absolutely love that costume! It's so well designed, especially the legs. Have you made any other costumes like this in the past?

This one is my first Faun/Satyr-like - but I made others, more human before.
I'm making a second one right now... But I only want to change the color of the fur and add some markings...

Yes, it took some time to create and sew every part of it - I even made a armor and a coat for her (which you can't see on this picture)... Roundabout something like one year of work. :3
