The Worac were a race of worm-like creatures that formed themselves into colonies, made mobile by sealed mechanical suits. Because of these sealed suits, they could interact with humanity with relative ease given the lack of cross-contamination. They were generally an enterprising race, engaging in all sorts of business ventures ranging from sales and manufacturing to overt piracy.

Perhaps the most interesting aspect of them were their memories. Each Worac colony retained the memories of the previous colony it split away from. As a result, some Worac had memories stretching back thousands of years, making them walking history books.
