If you havent caught on yet, the herb family is based of the tv show the herbs, i thought itd be nice to kinda implement a small rich family based f them in my webcomic , Lance babysits Parsley for extra money VuV since they live close to eachother.
Also yes Dill gets abused by his father too, their dad is a complete shit face hence Dill has several breakdowns. He is the only person Chives doesnt hate and she truely cares about him
