A gift and art trade for my good friend

Here is a picture that I did for a gift or art trade by my good friend A picture of her original character, Bastet the cat goddess, in my original artwork style. After being able to check out some great newer idea cartoon artwork that was done by my friend recently, I was in the mood for drawing a picture involving my friend's character in love of heart goddess, and I decided to draw her in the cartoon style that I normally draw my original artwork as well. For this picture I've done, I was able to drew Bastet holding up a syringe needle meant for one of her patients while also standing in cute pose. As I was coloring the picture of my sketch book in, I was able to use a blue and green for the background, and I decided to fill up much with empty space adding hearts in different sizes. The picture turned out very nice after being completed, and I hope she will love it no matter what.
