Ok. Firstly. This was inspired by the movie The Day After Tomorrow's theme. Listen here - [link]

That background was a pita when I got to the bottom, I had to fix the left side and auggghh add more colors, erase some, make some parts darker so it looked like it blended better, meoowwwrrrrr. And LOL it was supposed to be a snowy land mass, not an ocean. XD I was using this as a reference - [link] (which is a screenshot from the movie The Day After Tomorrow) I even started the Statue of Liberty but it wasn't looking right so I got rid of it and finished working on a city in the background. At that point I had gotten rid of the reference and did everything else from my imagination. x3

And my wolf therian form! Oh jeebus I feel like I totally failed on shading the wings and stuff ;O; I took another peek at a recent Daily Deviation (here - [link] ) to see if I could do the wing shading stuff too. I figured maybe I could try to improve? LOL And don't even get me started on the lighting! No crits! I know what I did ;A;

I could rant forever on how much I did with it. lol I started this around 5 I believe, and it's 12:34 am now, so yeah. @_@ A few hours ago, pretty much nonstop work. (besides eating dinner at 5 for a short time)

Look at me mommy, no hands! Well actually, no arms either. Or eyes. I did that on purpose. I tried drawing arms and it kept looking retarded so I ditched the idea. lol And I think it would be too dark to see the eye. But what do I know?

But yerr. I daydream about flying over cities turned into tundras, exploring the remains of these civilizations as life struggles to survive and pull through for the morning. It's something I think of when I get tired of being depressed. Like my life is sometimes a frozen tundra and everything feels like it's coming to an end. I have a choice. I can either lay down in the snow and die, or I can push on and keep hope. And while I'm at it, I "search for survivors" - I try to help those around me. I can't save everyone - it's hard enough just trying to save myself. But at least I can try.
