Am i the only one who thinks one of Naruto's new Pals in chapter 431 looks like the frog equivalent of Zoro from one Piece?I don't own either of these, just shown here to make a point.

Well to date I've been noting that nartuo seems to take alot of ideas from one piece:dumb main character who likes to eat, gaint snakes(one piece did it first), sand villion, gaint dog, and of late the frogs. It's not just idea's the designs look like he stole alot of other writers too. I really can't wait for it to end. I mean it's not a bad series it's the fans that get me. One piece never have in your face asshole nerds giving you shit to the point you beat them up.(I know we made a game out of it and people thanked us...guess that makes us the heros! Believe it!)

I'm sorry but it seems I may have mislead you with my comments and the poster itself. I wasn't criticizing OP or Naruto for any coincidental similarities in character design (heck, it could be a cultural outfit appropriate for swordsmen for all I know). I just found it funny that two characters from different popular manga/anime who were both using swords looked similar(even more amusing as they are on opposing sides of the Ninja vs Pirate debate.)
Also I must respectively disagree with your assessment that Naruto is ripping off OP to any great degree. Both stupid heroes who like to eat and giant snakes are hardly something either OP or Naruto came up with first. If one followed that logic, you could say Bleach is ripping off Yu Yu Hakashu cause Hiei used swords first.
And as a final note, specifically in regards to the big dumb hero who likes to eat, Dragon Ball did it before any of the others and I still doubt they came up with it first. I think it's juts a popular anime main character/hero archetype.

Are you the one who posted it? Well thats good to read(I keep getting nartuo hate fans writing), I do agree with you and I see your point. I however do in fact do not dislike nartuo (not the books or show it's the narutard fans!) And in fact feel it did to ninjas what twilight did to vampires! But it's not the book who did it. It is the amount of people who heard the word ninja and jumped on to the wagon and used it as reason to act like a idiot. If this keeps up the world will be full of nothing but vampires and ninjas wannabes. Not that I mind that it's just I'm more a pirate/werewolf myself. I mean to say in my mind vampires don't shine in the light and ninjas don't summon gaint frogs to fight that's like the opposite of a ninja ( I can see a pirate doing it because it's big and flashly but ninja sneak!) Still I liked the book in the early years it was more real (I think anyway!) But thank you for writing in a calm and intelligent way.

Nooooo.........Most of my friends are ranked top 20 in the state in grades and test scores, then again most of my friends are girls. But when a guy dressed like sasuke (spelled right?) keeps a good friend of mine from going to the bathroom over some bullshit reason he got from nartuo. And then my frined (Mike who plays football and is a very big/strong linemen) asked him to move or he'd hit him (he really had to go!) the kids tells him to fuck off because he's the hero of this story "believe it!" (dah fuck?). Mike hit him (one shot to the face) and he fell to the floor crying like a child. Also a friend of mine was looking at my new trigun wallet and a nartuo kid (wearing a head ban walks up a takes my wallet and hits me with it, throws it on the ground and steps on it then calls it a piece of crap! Then another kid as I'm talking to a friend about how werid this day has been (Thats right a day!) gets on all fours and jumps around dressed as nartuo. I asked him why he said he was doing frog jutsu. I asked if like the martial art?

Why would I say sorry? And I don't see only hate in the world, I see a child who is limited in his view of Naruto because of the narrow experiences of the schoolyard, which leads to rambling 'wtf' posts.
