Based on my short story (which happens to be the VERY FIRST deviation I ever submitted on this site) -->

Anyways, its a silent comic about the fearful yet misunderstood Child Stealer jumping out of the shadows and stealing a sad little kid away. See what I mean when I say he's scarier than Doctor Dandy (in a way)?
But he is really kind and has good intentions, so there's a bit of light for you.

Do you guys know Child Stealers really existed in this sort of fashion back then during the dark ages? I'm being serious. They would lure children away in bright costumes with candy in a sort of hypnotizing manner; some, like mine, sneaked around in black coats with top hats (to keep their identities on the down low) and nabbed them silently out of alleys and lonely places. I don't know if that's where the tale of the Pied Piper came from or the common term for child-napping, but it was just true. Some were even KNOWN throughout villages and they had bounties on their heads but they were too slippery to catch. Some were caught and executed. They were commonly called Child Stealers, Child Catchers, or Child Robbers (Wow. All synonyms. How creative.) Some were even called Dark Lurkers or some crap like that and were accused of black magic; witches, kind of.
Is there an underground cult of Child Stealers out there or something?
