You are an artist.
You go to bed.
You close your eyes.
And down you go.... into the grim city of Scream Venice that will become your rotting coffin.
You are summoned by Pope Nero for one reason: to be executed at the guillotines for having an imagination along with all the other kidnapped artists and their creative families.
The lanes are overrun by gory dread, swampy artist survivors and rebels, brutal soldiers and monsters, and the trees are overfilled with the heads of the dead.
You cannot wake up. If you do then it is useless to escape anyways.
You can never run away from the violence that hides away within the power that is innovazione.

Behold, a sort of movie poster for my story Innovazione ^^ It is rather abstract and over-WTF, but that fits the atmosphere of the overall storyline. Innovazione is one of my darker stories that really stands out from the wacky Chalice House and the dramatic Decembersville for it is raw with holocaust-like references and the violence is uncut, making it rather disturbing.
Its like Decembersville meeting Silent Hill, if I were forced to abbreviate. Yeah... and no one is spared by luck.

Yes, that is me upside down on the right side of the page; kind of a symbol about how artists suffer under the evil Nero's power.

The four colored panels on the left are as follows, from top to bottom:
1st: Scream Venice
2nd: The tree of artists' heads (that has inky sap)
3rd: Skella
4th: The eyes on Nero's hat

Got bored and all I had was crayons and my inky pen.
