LINK TO DOCTOR DANDY’S GALLERY - [link]This is an illustration for an upcoming episode in which my OC Doctor Dandy wrecks his creepy havoc upon Happy Lane on Halloween Night (with hilarious and pretty failed results)
I haven’t drawn Dandy in a long, long, long time. That makes NO SENSE considering he’s my favorite original and my first as well. That means he comes first before any of my other originals. This guy is the LORD of my characters. Even though Nutty Jimmy is the most popular and the Decembersville characters are getting some people riled up for more about em, Doctor Dandy is my true baby.
He’ll always be my platinum medal and my brainchild. That’s the fraud children’s hero whining and quoting Shakespeare (very badly) on the night of Halloween because he’s wondering why no kids are visiting. Then Eze tells him that it is Halloween and all the kids are trick-or-treating and then Dandy begins to rejoice and cook up wicked plans for kidnapping the children on Halloween night.
About his chair, Dandy has a WEIRD AS HELL chair in his office that he made himself. It could rise high, high, high, off the floor and spin and roll wherever. He’s playing with spiders.
As for the shadow hands, there’s a running gag in Doctor Dandy’s story that the ghosts and souls of the kids he killed keep trying to grab him and drag him to Hell. It’s… a really dark gag, but it’s a gag nonetheless.
Yes. The moon in Happy Lane has a face.
