Just so we're clear, for the purposes of my narrative I've extended the length of the time-skip for a bit. Either way, rebuilding the whole town in 3 months is unreal, this timetable makes much more sense for me. Its a small deviation, but important because Team Spike is now considerably stronger than they were before. This also makes more sense with a year rathre than 3 months of timeskip, well w/e its a small detail.NEXT

It must be tough to draw Raleigh, why a rhyhorn? I haven't tried drawing one yet, but it looks tough..
Anyways, I admire the style you make in your own manga. It totally says that it's you.
I can say it's possible that in 3 months Pokemon can build a whole town, Considering that they are Pokemon. Pokemon are very strong creatures, besides, if you take the mankies in Pokemon Red/Blue Rescue Team. They rebuilt the team base in just how many days? 2-3? Depending on how many peeled chestnuts you gave them. Say if they were working for free at the same speed, without the trouble of having to give them anything. It would be complete in a shorter amount of time. Now condsidering that there are more pokemon to help out in this Pokemon comic's universe, I do believe that it can be built in such a short amount of time.

Point taken, but I also wanted to give them time so that they could train for a while. Training at something for only 2-3 months you probably won't see a huge difference. I wanted some time to pass so that they had time to grow and mature, and be able to tell the next part of the story.
Team Spike is weak was a good theme, but that was the theme of the last arc. This time I'll explore them in a different way that requires me to have them be a little stronger.
Either way, I'k kinda fumbling around the rules of the group, the rules of pokemon and a few other rules I'm sure, but in my mind, its for the sake of the pacing in the narrative. Besides, the rules of pokemon have never been too well defined.
But that's just my opinion!

3 months is a lot of time for me. xD If I had an extra 3 months of summer vacation, I'd be happy..
I'm sure they can grow within three months depending on the situations they go through.
Yeah, it's good to play around with the rules, it helps build character.

Also, the reasons that I chose Raleigh are complex actually, I wanted a quad pokemon, a pokemon that was big in his first evolution, and a few other things, but he was the only real choice I had, haha. I like it tho, it kicked my butt for a while, but I've come real far now! So its ok I think.
Fun fact: Jean was almost a Buizel!

I can't see a buizel in your team.. I think I like Jean the Riolu better, Riolu fits with Raleigh the rhyhorn. hahah..

well, if she was a buizel, then she'd be protected from electric attacks by Rhyhorn's ability. Originally they were going to be romantically involved. But I decided to go for a stronger character overall and drop the subplot in the end.
