wow, the lineart looks so nice, how did you get the eyes so bold looking?
What did you use for it. o:

Thank you for saying so, lineart takes me such a long time lol. I hand draw using a graphics tablet with Photoshop, i think the eyes stand out more because they are in black, whereas the rest of the lineart is a dark brown? I hope that helps? :3

oh wow, you hand draw them with photoshop? that must take you forever! I Used to use the pen tool, but that took too long also, I ended up using sai for lineart.
I like how the light/dark brown blended in really nicely in your colored version. I might have to try that out!

Haha yeah, it can take a very long time! The pen tool is probably quicker (depending on the level of detail) but as much as i love Photoshop's pen tool, i find it very difficult to vary the thickness of the line :/ I've never tried Sai but i'm always hearing good things about it. How do you do your lineart if not hand drawn or pen-tooled? (if you don't mind me asking >w<). I find dark brown or grey can produce softer results than plain black outlines. Black can be too heavy, however, other times it can work very well. i guess it depends on what you want the final result to be like. Thank you again for your kind words ^.^
