Description Part of a bookcover I designed for illustration class. We were to pick a book that influenced our lives... now let me think... what could that be?
I don't know, maybe lord of the rings?
Well, I was trying to work on bishounen profiles, which i suck at and my costume designing skills. It ended up looking like the elf and man want to kill eachother. take 10 paces...turn and fire... but wait, the elf has no arrows to fire, and the man has cut off his hand by holding the blade of his sword... stupid human. oh well, what else can you expect?

Aww, thanks! I did this so long ago...the man's face looks weird to me now hehe.
Ya, I was going to go to FIDM, the fashion school, for a while, I love costume design, but I decided to get my BA first instead...wonder if I'll ever go do that too

I'm still considering posting some of my older art done in Prismacolor pencils from a few years back.

I bet you would!
The world NEEDS more good clothing and costume designers!
I see alot of the stuff they make these poor models try out and...

Oh you totally should post them, I love prisma work!
Ya, I'd never make my models wear such gaudy or stupid clothes...
After I saw the costumes for LOTR (they were on exhibit at FIDM
when I applied) I was so inspired...it costs like $20,000 per
semester to go there though...ugg...

I might wait to post them until I'm hitting a dry spell and can't think of anything to draw...
But at the same time, it's nice to post more art so people can find and see how I USED to draw.

Really?! WOW Lucky you!!
I heard about it but couldn't go see.
That's so awesome you got to go!!!

That's a ton of money!!!
I hope it was WELL worth it...

Hehe, it is funny to see how one used to draw...I'm always like, wow, I drew
that ... improving is so nice
Ya, the exhibit was so cool, the costumes were so intricate and beautiful!
I didn't actually go to the school though...I'd feel bad making my parents pay
so much for school, so I went to CSUCI instead...yay for schools that used to
be mental institutions
I just graduated with my Bachelors of Arts this summer, but if I go to FIDM it
would be way in the future when I can pay for it myself...till then...a starving
artist I shall stay!

I'm just glad I can tell my speed is improving too.
Especially since I used to spend 3 hours just sketching something.

I WISH I had someone paying for me to go to school.
Most people don't realize how lucky they are to have parents that help them out with school.
I don't have that luxury.
Everything I have, I've had to scrape and fight for on my own.

LOL It did?! That's awesome!

HAHAHAHAHA!! I know the starving artist feeling SOOOO well!!

Ya, I could spend forever sketching still...never satisfied...sometimes I
just have to step away and be like "time to be done!"
I know how lucky I am to have my parents to help me with school &
rent...that's why I didn't want to take so much money for college, I
went cheep instead. Eek, I don't know what I'd do if I had to be on my
own like you...I'd probably be working like 2 jobs and not go to school,
but I'd be alive.
Hehe, ya, my school be crazy I went a wandering through
mental patient rooms before they got turned into classrooms, and the
was a morgue (now the library lol) and an electric shock therapy room,
and sunlit courtyards for T.B. patients (it used to be a regular hospital
too) and The Ring was filmed there, so there's a giant spooky well on
a hill!
Ya, once I accumulate enough paintings I'll have an art show and
hopefully sell some works to get my name out & make money...but I
know that's going to take lots of work...till then...I'll eat my microwave
food hehe.

It's always great when you can get the extra help though.
It really IS good to further your education.
I seriously want to go to school, but I have to try to find out what to do to go for free...
Grants and things of that sort.

LOL Your school sounds like it would be CRAMMED with Hollow if it were a place in Bleach!!

Haha, it totally would! I can picture the Hollows peeking out of creepy barred windows
and sneaking around the morgue. Then that hole in the sky would open up and
Ulquiorra would come out and be like "What do you think you're doing?" and
throws then all in the well. Perfect!
