If Amayli has really strong neckles then why don't they study it and extract the band's powers and use it for themselves. Or better yet, have it contained so nobody can get their hands on it. And the wand too.

If the magical objects are the source of their power wouldn't it be smarter for them to destroy them. Also doesn't Amayli have protection spell on her necklace, you know the one where it flies back to her after a certain amount of time at a certain distance? Something is telling me they really should have destroyed it when they had the chance!
