How'dya like them apples? It's done! For reals! I'll never try so hard, and fail, to turn the phrase "Element of Honesty" into a pun ever again! (Hopefully.)This completes my styling guides for the Mane Six. Pinkie Pie , Rarity , Fluttershy , Twilight Sparkle , and Rainbow Dash have tutorials as well, if you are interested.
Also, I managed to finally break my streak of making each tutorial longer than the last! This one is shorter than both RD's and Twilight's. Fist pump, indeed.
Anyway, thanks again to everyone who has waited so patiently for my tutorials, and thanks to those that haven't. You may think your cries for styling advice have been muted by the trillions of light-years of inter-tubes connecting us, but they echo throughout my mind like a horde of shrieking harpies, pushing me forward. Also, all of the delightful comments and images of your work motivate me as well. I work best with both a carrot dangling from the end of a stick in front of me and a whip at my back.
And, of course, My Little Pony, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, Applejack, and the Hasbro toys are all owned by Hasbro.

The basic Equestria Girls Applejack Figure found here: www.amazon.com/My-Little-Pony-… comes with an Applejack hat. I'm not sure if the hat'll fit the pony Applejack figure, but try it and see for yourself.

Well, Derpy's hair is very similar to Dash's, so you could probably use her tutorial in a pinch if you needed to. As for the CMCs, if I make more tutorials, I plan on setting up a poll to let people decide who will be styled next. The CMCs would definitely be on that poll.

Question, I got a plushie Applejack today, with brushable hair (The Beanie Baby ones), could I do a similar thing with her? Probably not as easily, since the dolls give you a solid surface to hold things against, but still? :S

I think so. The Beanie Baby (BB) ponies seem to have enough hair to do this to them. Like you mentioned, the fact that the BB ponies are squishy will make the process more difficult. Also, it is probably best if you can avoid getting your BBs really wet, but I don't think a little bit of water will hurt them much.

The only think that needed anything drastic was the forelock, it was really curly

ahhhh I lOVE THE HAT! cant wait to do this tomorrow to the whole gang! my daughter is going to love the surprise 'MLP makeover day" and while we are 'drying them' we will do her own nails in her new MLP nailpolish and stickon nails haha you have made my day and my 5 year olds as well

In case anyone feels tempted to leave the fandom applying the marbles, here's how I managed to do it.
-Place the red rubber band and tighten it up where you want it to be (in it's final position).
-Place the rubberband you'll use to secure the marble over the red one.
-Place the marble right on top of the red rubber.
-Carefully wrap the hair around the marble. Once you're satisfied, pull the securing band up to hold the hair and marble in place.
Still, godly tutorials you have there. 10/10, would leave the fandom again, and rejoin to repeat the process. That would make me end up with MOAR brushed brushies.

You know what'd be really useful for me? How to style Luna's hair. I've got her and sculpted pink Celestia, thanks to you Twilight has perfect hair, but my TwiLuna fantasy is incomplete with this terrible mane! Rarity tried to kill herself when she saw it!

Are any of the other heat-setting methods listed above the first lamp image in the tutorial available to you (hair dryer, etc.)? You could try one of those, or fixing your lamp if it isn't too tricky. (Lamps are just a plug, two wires, a socket, and bits to hold it all together, so it is sometimes fixable even if you are not a professional.)

I used the bang idea for my trixie. I like it it. It might not be a spot on show look a like, but hey, it works. I used it on the back part of the mane and the bangs.

I use a Canon PowerShot ELPH 300HS. I bought it because it received really positive reviews, and it is the best compact digital camera I've ever come across. I love it.
I stole my Dad's camera for the Pinkie Pie and Rarity tutorials, but most of the pictures I took were out of focus. I had to take three pictures of absolutely everything I did and use the least blurry one. Not a problem with this camera.

This tutorial was hard only because of the marble part and the hat. I end up not putting the hat on Apple Jack because it won't stay on.
