The electric tramways of San Francisco don't get nearly as much attention as they should. They are after all some of the very last leftovers left from the great system on the pacific coast. What make is that tramcar? What else do they use?

It appears that the tram I photographed was Italian built (Milan 1928).
I agree they should make more of these lovely old cars.

Surprising that they have Italian tramcars in the US. That is some interesting stuff.
For one, I love the classic PCC cars, they were even prominently featured in my dreams for some reason.

Enjoyed the footage thanks! A friend in the US has just told me they have had a heritage tram weekend in San Francisco, using old Blackpool trams.
