Back to the layout, and Eclipse is my last class 42 'Warship' to be fitted with an ESU/Howes Sound Decoder. This work is scheduled to be done over the next two weeks or so.

Access to Truro Works 'A Shop' is (awkwardly) via the steam shed, and here you see the works steam pilot, 0-6-0ST No. 1363, buffering up to the 'Warship' to tow it to the Works.

In the background, the guard is waving off the down Atlantic Coast Express, and will have to be nimble to swing aboard as it starts. You will note that we are still in the steam heating season.....
