Description
Well, it was a long wait but here we see the 'Big Lizzie' at Flying Stations. After my disappointing results on June 22, a Navy chum and I went in search of her on 28th and here is HMS Queen Elizabeth off Heybrook Bay, to the south of the Plymouth Breakwater. Sadly, I still had to shoot into the sun and haze, but I was slightly happier with this second shoot as at least the light was brighter and I feel she looks quite 'moody'.

Here she is landing on an Army Air Corps Apache helicopter as part of trials to ensure effective co-operation between the RN and the AAC.
