Description As our train, hauled by a tender-first No. 35006 Peninsular & Oriental S.N. Co, nears Broadway on the return run from Cheltenham, we gaze out at the beautiful Cotswold landscape. The sight of a distant church tower, nestling amongst the trees, banishes, just for a moment, thoughts of the modern world with all its politics, hatreds and protests. If only it could be like this forever.....
