The Pheasantry at Sudeley Castle houses a collection of rare and endangered pheasants from many parts of the world. This one is a Himalayan Monal pheasant and I managed to get close enough to the wire mesh to put it out of focus and get this picture. Not an ideal background but he was moving around quite quickly so I got what I could. Seen here on June 1, 2021.


Please, no jokes about 'pheasant pluckers'.....
