Story:
“I don’t know Clyde. Don’t be afraid, it’s pretty outside right now, and the Mr. here says everything is going to be alright! What do you think?”

Aiden flinched for a second, unsure how to react, if even to react at all. He wasn’t used to kids, and wasn’t quite sure what to do with them. The little girl behind him was making little skipping steps, as she bound over the large rock path. She was presently holding a conversation with her stuffed cougar, who she named Clyde. What kind of name is Clyde for a stuffed animal? he thought to himself.

“I don’t know. Excuse me Sir?” She asked, this time the question was directed to him. He stopped and turned to face the child. She was maybe 3 or 4, with big green-blue eyes, and long strawberry blonde hair. She beamed up at him looking a little bit nervous. But despite her slight discomfort, she smiled up at him, and looked at him with hope.

“What is it?” He inquired from the little girl.

Her nervousness melted away, “Clyde wanted me to ask you where we are going? He doesn’t like the dark."

Aiden looked down at the child. “Somewhere safe. It’s a little farther down the path”

She took his hand, which had been tucked close to his side, and began her little skip walk. They walked down the dark path, but it seemed just a little bit brighter all of a sudden.

Trying out some new techniques on my Characters. I think I like this watercolor/ink mixed media technique.

Anyway. This is Akira!!! Ain't She Cute!!! Well, Akira maybe a sweetheart, but he story is anything but. Poor kid went through a lot, but was so young she doesn't remember most of it when she grows up. See the Cougar Stuffed Animal in her hands, well, it's important, because it symbolized her. She is the Courgar... XD.
Anyway, I'm working on different designs for character, among homework, finals, and commissions. I'm even thinking about making adopts. Little chibi stuffed animals like the one in her hands. I haven't decided on that just yet though. What do you guys think?
