Palentine, a fighter on the run from the Archmage of the Salacan Empire. She was born and raised in Salaca, but is of Tsehayan descent; her parents immigrated to Salaca soon after a treaty between the Tsehayan and Salacan empires was signed.⁣

Palentine doesn't talk about herself much, instead preferring to learn about others and the things around her. Her precision in combat makes it clear that she's had some sort of formal training at one point in her life, but she won't talk about it. ⁣

Her reluctance to speak about her past arouses suspicion, but she appears to be of good character. It's easy to get a laugh out of her, and she's very considerate towards the well-being of her travel companions.⁣
