Backstory 😌

When younger HeatherPaw was not intrigued by warrior training, instead he was mesmerized by the herbs he learned from FallenRoses he would occasionally hide from outside of the medicine cat den to watch FallenRoses sort herbs and mutter the uses to herself.

FallenRoses was gravely concerned about how he was acting, so she went and told ShadowStar about what she'd been doing. ShadowStar told the other apprentices to keep an eye on him and they did. But one day right at sunhigh she snuck out into the forest and caught a few mice.

But HeatherPaw found it boring to just catch them and so she went into the medicine den and took them burying them and using some of the herbs to practice wound healing. He felt sad as he was killing poor souls. So he caught some mice and scratched them a little bit and practiced helping cats on them. and then hid them in a little cave he found.

He would find food and feed it to the little mice rarely ever scratching him. Instead he kept the mouses without hurting them. Coming every night. Once one of the mice got hurt and he fixed the little mouse. The mice got attached to him and he did everything to protect them.

One of the apprentices found him by himself with herbs and attacked him. HeatherPaw tried to get this cat off but never payed attention to the training so couldn't. The medicine cat found out and realized that he should be a medicine cat apprentice, taking him in.

Later he got his medicine cat name HeatherCloud, and he always visited the mice day by day unless he had duties. When FallenRoses died by an attack and falling off of a cliff, she mourned and wish that she were there. But in a dream FallenRoses appeared saying 'i will be with you every pawstep of the way'

HeatherCloud remembered those words and lived with them keeping them. Often he smelled her scent around him in hard times or she whispered a herb if he didn't remember, he knew she was always with him.

During Leafbare he hid his mice in the camp protecting him as best as he could but soon one of his mice died and he saw a starry figure of a mouse and FallenRoses, the mouse ran into her paws and they disappeared.

HeatherCloud kept with his mouses and medicine cat duties and overtime started to grieve less often about FallenRoses. But he will always keep his little mice <3
