Petra, a dark elf anomaly born with light skin, has the birthright of the family to take the underdark throne of the drow as empress when their mother passes. But she is looked upon by her kind as a changeling, and has been extradited by her kind, the drow, to the borderlands, above ground. Her domain is No Man's Land, the liminal space between light and dark. Her wishes are to change the views of the Underdark that she is mighty enough to lead them one day, through her noble acts. Slowly, opinions are changing. Her sister’s dark plot to take the right to the Underdark throne has made Petra the hunted.

A war wages between the underdark world and the liminal world....where no one is safe......
