The thought bubble definitely adds something to this cartoon. Without it, it would just be a picture of god being angry.. but with it, there's a hint of childish rebuttle that makes the picture funny. Poor God. Just keep him away from Neitzchies' "God Is Dead" book.

I like how you remembered the old "five-fingers" rule that seems to be a standard for all cartoon renditions of God (see "The Simpsons" episode 9F01 "Homer the Heretic" for the most famous example).
I'm not strongly religious in regards to any particular faith, but whenever anyone takes their beliefs to extremes, it annoys me. It's good to see that such things can still be made light of. (Wow, that was a poorly-structured sentence...)
