I usually take liberties when it comes to certain Pokemon (As does the anime apparently) I figure the height in the Pokedex is more of a average rather than an absolute, and just like it has been shown in game by the fisherman whom you can bring different pokemon to to measure their size to win some stuff (And in hey you pikachu as well) I figure most pokemon like people have a variety of heights, fur/scale/etc colors that fall within the same pallet (IE some pikachu with more brownish fur or even albino and melano variants which would be rare as heck) and different features. Of course there's the default pokemon look, but if they're to be seen in a somewhat more realistic light I think variety would actually be a thing XD

No, no, I don't mind your rambling lol. Go on! I enjoy hearing what you have to say. I agree with it fully. Maybe one day they'll incorporate size differences into Pokemon. Perhaps even alter the appearance by their stats too. Who knows?

XD ahaha, I like coming up with different head canons for Pokemon and such, so I tend to get a bit extensive when I chatter on about it. And I think that would be interesting, if only because I do find it somewhat hard to believe a Pokemon like Joltic can take out massive pokemon with a few zaps, but at the same time, I think that's the amazing world of pokemon and could you just imagine how much they'd have to rework the breeding mechanics then? XD Competitive batters would be looking for the perfectly sized perfectly IVd shiny pokemon they could. omg

Mm, well, while the novelty of it would be cool (Like they do with some Pokemon already anyway) Directly affecting stats would put more into what is already a lengthy breeding process for competitive battlers. I don't think they need to rework the stats/battling system again XD. And I think the idea of Pokemon in general is that even a small pokemon like Joltic can overtake other Pokemon no matter what their size. I think size suddenly mattering might not be sending the right message. But it can be a novelty, kind of like dressing up your Pokemon. XD

Hmmm, true. It would deliver the wrong message. Perhaps giving them different random sizes like Magicarps would suffice then. It would be pretty cool considering that they SEVERELY downsized some Pokemon from the anime. It makes you wonder, what other features they will implement into Pokemon in future games? I mean, Mega Evolutions were a great addition.

Mm, they always seem to do a little bit at a time but keep the core mechanics mostly the same. I'm just hoping for something that allows you a lot more immersion in the pokemon world. Kind of like how first person shooters help put you in the shoes of the character, I kind of hope they focus on making the games themselves feel more like you're right there.

Indeed. Thats why i loved the Pokemon party following mechanic. It definitely made me feel a lot more immersed. I dont know why they would come up with sprites for ALL THOSE POKEMON and not use them again. I loved that feature though. I hope they bring it back.

Yeah, hope they bring it back with one of their games, I really liked it, even if there's not a pokewalker (Which i barely used anyway) i'd just like them to follow you XD

Indeed, its one of my favorite, yet the most subtle mechanics of previous Pokemon games. It really felt great an immersive having your favorite Pokemon follow you. It made you feel like part of the world. I also loved the pokewalkers too.

Indeed. The pokewalkers was a nice way for people to exercise. I loved walking around with it. It was like a Tomagachi.
