It is Orion’s birthday today, September 29th. He’s two years old now. In celebration, he is the first of my characters to get a proper reference sheet. Would have made one for Dakota on her birthday like a week ago but I didn’t have the idea at the time More of these coming soon

(I've uploaded a lot of drawings to my art blog in the past few days, mostly color palette memes if anyone's interested. Remember to follow my art blog while you're there! ;o)

Orion is the one responsible for making the stars in the night sky. He's as old as the universe itself and has been making stars since the dawn of time, sealing them all in little jars and sometimes stringing them together to create constellations. He's the only one of his kind, a being made entirely of compressed stardust, and he can change form at will - though he doesn't do it often and prefers the form he's with now. Currently his only friend is the constellation Cygnus, a giant swan. Communicates with sign or body language, since he cannot speak.
