Thank you, Rick! I appreciate your opinion and point of view..! I'm pretty much attuned to Sykkel's personality and he to mine. We can communicate without speech, which is very cool. I'm hoping to be able to work with him when the weather warms in a style that is more of what he envisions for himself. I'll have to see if the timing works well for that and go for it.

dramatic portrait; love the negative space; would also work in monochrome as the color of his tats draw the eye away from the whole

I agree with the drawing of the eye by the tats - I tried the image in b&w and it just fell flat for me. But I *do* appreciate the viewpoint. I also thank you for the encouragement and support. I have a few others from this set that I'll be posting - hopefully they will be as enjoyable if not more so.

Thanks, Micha - Spruce is a chameleon. I wish I could explore the side of him that he would like to delve into and totally rock the place, but right now the timing isn't conducive to that sort of shooting, and timing is everything.
I like working with negative space - it gives more of a mysterious, eternal, infinite depth to a piece. Something from nothing is usually really inspirational to me.
