Description
Once upon a time there was a strange musician who was walking through the woods all by himself,thinking about this and that. When there was nothing left for him to think about, he said to himself,
“It is boring here in the woods. I am going to get myself a good companion."

My biggest and most difficult Sherlock drawing. Difficult because I really wanted to transcribe all his concentration on his face, but also a bit of sadness and loneliness.
Actually, I made it months ago but I forgot to post it here, on deviantart.
Benedict Cumberbatch/Sherlock Holmes.
Painted with tea, sepia chinese ink and shaded with graphite pencils & mechanical pencil. Heavy aquarelle paper, 58x77cm.

This is absolutely gorgeous... I can't stop looking at it! It's ludicrously imaginative, and, at least to me, his face carries a heavy torrent of emotions hidden behind a shallow shadow and depicting the quoted description. One of the rare occurrences he freely allows his vulnerabilities to surface and be written into a sheet of music. My chest is swelling. This is utterly amazing; you're amazing.
