There has been a whole load of sea weed the kelp sort, washed up on the beaches recently because of the storms I think... sometimes the piles are taller than me!

kraken.. thats what usually lives under the weed!! As for the sea shells they are pretty... small but pretty and not really spectacular... scallops, razors etc...

I'm yet to discover one on the beaches here. We have many chip chip, cowry and sand dollars.

They are especially when you find one that is still connected... cowry would be nice...
