Description
In contrast to the Gothic 13th Century Dome in Bamberg [link] is St Kilian's Tomb Church in Wurzberg, Germany. This temple of light from the 17th century was recently restored, merging old with new. A completely different feeling is evoked. Yet here rest the remains of one of Ireland's most famous Saints, and his mates, great travellers for the 8th Century, and mostly responsible for the city of Wurzberg!Related content

It's Baroque, they were moving away from fidgety stain glass into the realm of white windows to let in the light in its pure form... sigh.... fashion you see... I like the stained glass too!!

Awww modern taste at the worst in my opinion. I love the stained glass windows to give it this rich antique look and then the rainbow of colours that move across the floor with the sun is so much better!
