Dr. Poltaryll Quazar once served as the benevolent Minster of Science and Technology on his home planet of Gallar, conducting various scientific experiments in the hopes of bettering the lives of the galaxy's citizens. However, his mind started to corrupt when he became fascinated with robotics and began performing unethical experiments on living beings with cybernetics - including himself! The Gallar Ministry of Science and Technology eventually found out about his deeds, banishing the mad doctor to the desolate moon of Yalldor. Swearing vengeance and coming to the belief that robot supremacy would keep the galaxy alive, Poltaryll constructed a base of operations using materials found on the moon. After assembling an army of robotic foot soldiers, Poltaryll continued with his nefarious operation to convert every organic in the galaxy into automatons...though the only thing standing in his way is the youthful heroism of Zak Mechana and his robot buddy GIZ-98!
