Step Four in the Injection Series-Part of my Transition project. As a female to male transsexual I inject testosterone bi-monthly. Step Four is to insert the needle in the upper-outside quadrant of the buttocks and then aspirate, which means pulling the plunger back to make sure I haven't hit a vein, which is a bad thing. Testosterone should NEVER be injected into the vein. If one has hit a vein blood will appear in the syringe. Which is actually what happened here for the first time.
