i think this is the final picture i am thinking of soon details but i think this is finshed now so what do you think
render with mental ray and modeld in maya. texture made in photoshop.
edit: this is the FINAL picture i am happy with it

One comment, I know you're complete with it, but Sub Surface Scatering on the leaves could have made the image photo-real.

Your texturing skills are just incredible.
I honestly didnt think it was rendered untill i saw the wireframe. Doubters have a right to doubt on DA, though, with all the fakes that do pop up. You shuold post that wire link in your description just to calm people down heh.

I have never seen something so realistic done in a 3d program. It would be a waste of talent if you didnt make your career in modelling or something with 3d design. Excellent Job.

a bit to much light bloom... you also need to work with the translucensy of the leaves ..... also.. try setting the thickness of the refraction inside it to about .02
