Eir's pov

"Any last words, Rattenfanger," a voice whispered harshly.

The man cowered and started to cry. "Have mercy on me! Please have mercy! I won't do it again. I swear! Please forgive me, Eir."

The girl, Eir glared down at him. Ah, she thought. How pitiful. She pointed the gun toward the center of his forehead. "Before you die, I have a question to ask you."

Rattenfanger stayed still, sobbing silently.

Eir sighed inwardly. "Do you have a boy in this mansion of yours named Ra-," she paused. "Names wouldn't matter here would it?" Without giving him a chance to answer, she smiled. "Oh well. I'll just search the whole mansion. Goodbye, Pied Piper of Hamelin."

The man gasped. "No," he said. "Please don-"

BANG! He dropped to the ground, blood covering his face.

Eir, satisfied with the kill, put away her gun. She turned to walk away from the body, almost at the door when there was suddenly a scream. Eir immediately turned around, her gun in her hand and finger in the trigger. She was surprised at what she found.

The kid stared at the gun in horror then caution. He took a step back, glancing at the corpse and the person who murdered him. "W-who are you," he managed to stutter. "W-w-why did you kill him? Are you going to kill me?"

Eir kept the gun pointed at the person before her. "What's this," she said. "It's just a kid." She stared. "Wait. No way. Is that you? Raid?"

The boy was surprised. "How do you know my name," he asked.

"You don't remember me?" Eir was hurt. Then she realized. "Of course, it's probably cause I look so different after 6 years. Hahaha, you still look as short as ever, even for a 15-year old."

Raid blushed a deep shade of red. "Who're you calling short you old hag!"

Eir lowered her gun, her face darkened. "Old... hag,"she mumbled. "Haha. You have some nerve kid. You want to die. You want to die, right?" She shot her gun. The bullet hit the floor next to his foot. "I won't miss next time, boy."

Raid stared at her in disbelief. "You're actually going to kill a kid," he asked. "That's inhuman!"

The woman laughed. "Who said I was human," she whispered.
