Naturally I had to throw two food enthusiasts at each other to duke it out, especially since I recently pulled a certain Spooder out of retirement. I managed to capture a very rare image of Gobby McSpooder without his lactose intolerance on display, but unfortunately that didn't last long and I expect he'll be lethargic for a long time now. That's no surprise.I originally planned on making this short comic with at least twice as many panels, but I realized that the way I laid it out would only leave most people interested in the final panel, so I cut it down to two frames. Other than that, though, there's not much to say about this picture. It's rare for a project to run this smoothly anymore, so I'll enjoy it while it lasts.
EDIT: Added some missing harness straps in the first frame.

The sharks, perhaps, since they just had dinner, but SN4TCH-3R doesn't get along with Gobby and nothing would make it happier than to show off how much better it is at defeating and capturing people.

Oh of course besides I can not really expect you to just do art whenever off a little innocent teasing which was all I was doing

A lot of experiences on DA has left me unable to tell the difference between innocent teasing and users trying to get free art, so I don't mess around with it. It's best not to back myself into a ton of obligations like I did at the beginning of this year.

completely understand but yeah I know never entitled to free art and would never expect it. I always appreciate it when someone is willing to but in the end its always down to the artist. And I do understand have seen some really really bad people about that that ask for a request and then harass the artist until they get it done or will even have the audacity to complain about when they do get their free art, it not being to their liking or wanting more xD

Yeah in my early DA days I didn't know anything about what artists had to look out for and the request buzzards flocked to my account. I naturally hate turning people down in just about any scenario, so I guess I made it too easy for them to get free art off of me. I finally realized what was going on when I noticed I no longer had time to draw my own art in between requests. There's nothing like taking the fun out of drawing to make one realize something is wrong.
I really only joined DA so I'd have some place to throw all the random ideas I came up with. To be honest I had no intention of even starting to take commissions until a very large amount of users wanted me to open them.

I'm not familiar with Gobby McSpooder - but I like his work and accept his challenge! I get either a nice loaded baked potato or wrapped up nice and snug from the lips down. There is literally no way for me to lose this...

It's not too hard to become familiar with Gobby McSpooder. He's a bug Pokemon called Ariados from Pokemon Gold and Silver that I adapted as a character in my gallery in my second month on DeviantArt. The name Gobby McSpooder was partially chosen by my watchers and he's crazy about cheese, so much so that he'll attack and restrain anyone who tries to keep him from cheese. Unfortunately he's also horribly allergic to dairy, so it's a bit of an unfortunate situation for him. He doesn't care, though.
