It isn't as hard as you think! I taught myself to crochet in about 2 weeks. I admit, I think my work is getting a lot better, but you just have to practice ^^. You should try it out!

I'll ask my mum, she used to knit jumpers and scarfs, hats, etc.

Probably because its similar... I've seen her make stuff like this before.. but I've never seen it properly.. like.. I've seen her finish it but she puts them away, somewhere I don't know. And she tells me that I can't see it because something will happen to me.
I don't mind that she said that but I do take that seriously, because I think she is hiding something from me and that makes me curious.
However, if she really didn't want me to see it, then I wont ^ ^
