Eclipsa has to be hands down my favourite character in SVTFOE and every appearance she makes, she continues to show that things aren't purely evil or purely good. Honestly I think she's going to be a somewhat chaotic neutral in the show but her quirky personality and general goofball nature (Seriously I loved her she called Marco's karate a sword hand dance XD) she really is an incredible character that gives the viewers and Star a different perspective on things.

Originally I was going to make the purple side blood red but thought that was too stereo-typical, so I changed it to purple to help that side stand out more. That is also why the shading under each side of
Eclipsa's face is different.

On the brighter side, I wanted the shading to appear darker to reflect how that when you're surrounded by light, anything remotely dark is quite piercing(reflecting how Mewmans view Monsters and Eclipsa) while the darker side has softer shading reflecting Star's view of Eclipsa and the Monsters.

I'm really happy with how this piece came out and originally I wasn't going to make her cheek marks glow but I thought it just added that extra something to the image

And yes I am aware that she doesn't have such blue hair(it's more of a dark turquoise) but I wanted to add my own spin on it
