Hi friend!! I come from the folks over at ProjectComment . A pleasure to be here!!
The stylization here is super adorable!!! It's eye-catching with its bright colors and the toony subject fits perfectly. I also like the use of complementary colors in the background which draws the viewer’s eye to the center where the subject is. All in all, the technical elements in this picture work fantastically. As an extra bit, I really like the design of Corey here. He’s not only charming; he really stands out when compared to other more generic fox designs people have made, and this is all thanks to his physique and colors. He's simple, but sometimes simple is better when it comes to characterization, and that’s basically how I would sum up what this picture does right. Great work!!
Even if it is a toony style, I've noted that some of Corey’s proportions are off. His left ear seems to be bigger than the other, for example, as well as his right cheek compared to the other. Trying to make ¾ views proportionate is admittedly difficult, but drawing the character in multiple angles multiple times helps you more or less plan out how certain features appear. Also, I've noticed that Corey's tail looks… detached from his body? Something like that could work if this were drawn in an abstract style (the art style of Yin Yang Yo! is a good reference for what I'm talking about), but here it just looks awkward. Shift it a little more to the left and it'll look more like it's attached. This last bit is more of a nitpick, but to me it doesn't really make sense that his paw pad is missing the metacarpal part?? Like, I know, cartooning calls for simplicity, but I feel as though that would make walking incredibly awkward, and, again, it doesn't really make sense not to draw the whole paw.
Skepticism aside, this really is a lovely piece, and, judging by the rest of your gallery, you seem to be steadily getting better. Keep at it, buddy!!

Thanks for your feedback. Looking at his left ear, I think you're right about it being bigger now that I had a second look at it. Also, his tail does seem kind of detached. I'm glad you were able to spot these things out for me.

Hello, I'm from the Project Comment
Let me tell you that I really like the charisma and joy that this drawing transmits, it just makes you want to smile when you see it, as well as the fact that the lineart is perfect when it is a caricature because it looks simple and fluid,it kinda looks like some kind of zootopia oc the color is the base color of a fox but the simplest of this makes it blend perfectly, the shading is common and simple, like in the current cartoons, the only thing that could be wrong in my opinion is the length of the arms but the style explains it, then the background that if there is still too simple for my taste, maybe being in a place with some situation going on behind him with another characters would have added more humor than I already had this job, also i think you could work more the hand that has the phone because at least for me, it seem like he have broke his wrist XD, i suggest to use some references for that, there is also the fact that you put the shadows without having a light origin so it kinda generate for it self in some places, thats all

Thanks for your feedback! Yes, I do think there is something quite odd about that hand. It looks kind of crooked and it isn't very pleasing to the eye. I often have trouble with drawing body limbs in general, so it's something I've definitely got to work on. Would you happen to know if there are any resources out there that can help an artist (preferably one who does similar art to mine) to draw certain body parts correctly and making sure the proportions are accurate?

Hmm, I suppose I could give that one a go. Perhaps it will work on my character, who knows? I'll have to find out for myself.
Thanks for your help.

Thanks a lot. I really appreciate your comment; it means a lot to me. This character is a fox, by the way.
