Ometepe Island sits in Lake Nicaragua, one of the largest inland lakes in the world (the 10th I think). Two volcanos sit on it as well, one of which a chap in Granada warned us was due to go off - and that if it started going to get off the island ASAP because there were not enough boats for everyone.Related content
