Description

EDIT 5/20/17: Drawing has been polished a little. Line art is much smoother now and small details were added to the eyes. Again, a different art tool makes all the difference.

Remake of this drawing: I'm Here For You

About a year ago, I wrote a vent story about my time at college through the perspective of my emotions. Looking back at it, it's possibly the best short story I have ever written. I feel as if it's underrated and is really worth reading. My friend KurobaFox1412 has made a comic out of it, though it is currently on hiatus.

So I decided to go back to one of my illustrations for the story and redraw it. I think it looks much better than the old one.

Here's the story if you haven't read it:
Bryan's Emotions: Hard Times

And here's page 1 of Kuroba's comic of the story:

"Inside Out" belongs to Pixar
Artwork and my emotions belong to me

The lines are way smoother here, and I think the colour pops a bit more! Well done, you really improved

(RE-ISSUE) Now the lines are smoother than the original, and because of you getting adapted to a new tool, I can say that the effects got improved, and well... I have nothing else to say, but that, FireAlpaca is the perfect tool for remastering most your work ^^

I took the time to read the original story behind this before commenting and boy was it emotional. The story is well-written and it is, indeed, worth every minute second of reading. Also, even though I hate to admit it, I feel as though I can really relate to it in a way. Always procrastinating instead of doing what's important.

As for the illustration, it's definitely a big improvement compared to the original. The shading here is just lovely and really livens the moment up a bit for fellow readers who may come across it. I was tempted to take acknowledgement of the blanket, (which I completely missed in the original image) but it's no secret that your Joy has a thing for Riley's Joy, as previously mentioned.

Good job!~

Brian's Joy definitely needs some time to let things of his chest, doesn't he? After all that is why he needs Sadness ;w;

I like the shadings here, and as always the glow emitted from Joy!

Hmm I just took a glance of your story its kinda interesting tbh, maybe I will take a closer look of it later when I have time
Also I noticed that...the patterns on blanket in the bed...is that the skirt pattern of the original joy? How thoughtful xD
I guess its because you said you are in love with joy right?

Poor Bryan's Joy... he's glad he's got Sadness around, huh? Nice job on this. You updated it really well.

With all the improvement involved within the emotions, it's no doubt that the remasterization became one of your masterpieces. I've read the original story of the original drawing, and... I can't express how interesting, yet emotional, it was! (in part, reminds me of a drawing one of my friends did... no offense)

Or at least the segment in the original drawing. Will read the full story when I have time.
